    Possibly agree

Although , you have to wonder how much value an assistant brings anyways .

We had the supposedly the best defensive staff and we couldn't stop GS

On offense , MDA is gonna do what he does and let harden and Paul do all the work .

Don't forget Horry. Would love to see the Champ Squad on the sidelines yelling at these dudes and coaching them. It's all entertainment as far as I'm concerned and that **** would have me buying tickets. Love to see them all get a 3rd ring as coaches. Would be a hell of a Championship parade!

It's not about overpaying for quality ass, it's about finding that quality ass. before they're overpaid.

Nick Nurse plays some sort of Super Saiyan Hospital ball. While opponents get injured.

"We will have our pick of assistant coaches"

Am I doing that right, @J.R.?

Man, Udoka was one of my favorite candidates. Hope we can get someone like that.

Man we have had so many players come through the organization we don’t even care about that anymore!

Now we care about the free agent assistants and how much they make!

This years draft we might select an assistant and stash him. (if we can buy a second round pick somehow)

The Tillman extension proposals are ludicrous if true. Being paid less then non-NBA coaches unless you making to the Finals for incentives. This owner is a repellent for any type of staff.

    Yes.

We obviously didn't want Ime Udoka or Lionel Hollins or Jason Kidd.

This is a solid move. I think he can be a head coach one day overseas if not in the NBA.

Right..... but JB Bickerstaff walking through the Cavs front door as an Associate Head Coach could mean Mike Longbardi is walking through the Toyota Center door.

We didn't want Jason Kidd....... want NO part of that.

Lionel Hollins plays a completely different type of defense than what we have played. It is possible we could completely change how we defend but I doubt it, so he was likely never a serious possibility.

Ime Udoka is someone the Rockets may have had interest in, but I can tell you that Cameron Hodges is a smaller name but a very good under the radar coach.
