A lot of us have good reasons for hating on T-Mac, starting with the fact that he could never carry us out of the first round.

I still like him, but I’ve lost some respect for T-Mac lately with how many swipes he likes to take at Harden. He knows Harden’s passed him up and is salty about it.

Ever since T-mac straight up quit on his team during the Toronto game (I think) I haven't really forgiven him. Seems like a nice enough guy though. So mine is really just "sports hate".

Tmac is hard to like. I mean his antics with deciding to take a micro fracture surgery despite the urging of the teams doctors to his hissy fit tantrums in the Toronto game to picking the lakers to beat his own teammates in the semi finals. Then there is him throwing Yao under the bus by saying I wish I had a dominant big like Duncan to his insecure shots at Harden because he knows he can’t carry Hardens boot straps as a overall player.

This sums up most of my problems with McGrady. I'll just add that he announced that surgery when it was heavily rumored that the Rockets were gonna trade him for his cousin.

GARM Post of the Week nominee right here!

T-Mac was a double-edged sword: the impossible and the unforgivable.

He was one of the most talented athletes I've ever seen in any sport and sometimes made the impossible look effortless. Too often, though, he gave us the unforgivable instead.

I absolutely loved watching him play, in those games where he made an effort.

T-Mac was my favorite player of all time. But his actions/behavior toward the end of his career and now as a commentator show me how much of a loser he really is. It's sickening to see and watch. The way he talks about the Rockets and Harden, who is the indisputable second best Rocket ever, is just another illustration of his loserhood.

Tmacs stats in the 1st round say otherwise. Maybe if Yao wouldn’t get outplayed by Okur we would have advanced.
