    That was totally awesome!!!

Great job Julio! Man after all these years I still get goose bumps
watching that. I remember going to work like a zombie from not
sleeping much during the finals. I can't wait to feel like a zombie
    again!
    :(

I wonder how many current Mavs "fans" remember Derek "Enemy Mine" Harper.

Thanks, Julio. Gotta admit I got choked up a little. I've seen it several times, but not in awhile.

I thought of something as I watched it... Rudy, the perfect coach for that team, had his last season in '81, when the Rocks went to the Finals, eliminating the Lakers in route. He was an assistant coach for the Rockets when they beat Riley's Lakers in '86, to advance to the Finals. Then he's the coach for the Rockets as they beat Riley's Knicks for their first championship. Just an idle thought. Riley must have hated losing to the Rockets, again.

God, that was a great team, with a great coach.

    You really think so?

Maybe we should start a thread on who people think the best all-time Rockets killer was/is if it hasn't been started already

That game was perhaps one of (if not "the") best single game performances in NBA history. Poetry in motion.

Great video, thanks a lot for posting it. I've seen it a million times but I still get choked up every time I see that clock run down to 0.0. I didn't think it would EVER run out.

I love watching Hakeem just sitting down and chilling afterwards with all the pandemonium going all around him. At the time, I thought something was wrong with him. I read an interview later on where he said that his biggest reward was just watching his teammates and the fans be so happy. He was happier for them (and us) than he was for himself.
