Only the Lakers could be utter trash and rely on a strategy of hoping big names want to play there. A Kawhi-Lebron-George lineup is a killer defensive lineup.

That implies to me, that at least the trade talks have progressed to the bargaining phase.
Which means this is SERIOUS if true.

    SAS is listening to offers.
    That's the news here.
    Kawhi is up for sale.

After the discord was leaked I am sure a number of teams have contacted the Spurs.

I can't for the life of me think that Ingram would be anywhere near enough for the Spurs to consider and let's not forget the Spurs are still the #3 team in the West even without Kawhi. Kawhi+Pop is guaranteed playoff team every year for years to come. All LA could offer is a chance at a rebuild with young talent and picks - that would be an unprecedented choice for a team with an MVP candidate when healthy. Not sure why a small market team like the Spurs would consider that unless they are actually worried that Kawhi's injury is more serious then we realize.

That's quite a ways off though - they have him under contract until 2019 at least and given his recent injury history it wouldn't shock me to see him opt into the 2019 season too. Also remember SA has a 15% trade kicker on his deal making it even harder to trade him without him waving that. I just don't see him eagerly wanting to go to a lotto team - even if it's in his home town but who knows - maybe he is a total homer...

I don't know, just because you aren't about that lifestyle doesn't mean you actively hate to play for the team.

Irving seemed like a normal reasonably bright young man. Leaves Cleveland and turns out he's an illuminati believer.
For all we know Kawhi as soon as he leaves SA could turn into a wanabee movie star.

Stalked Danny Green, Mills, Tony, Gasol on instagram the other day. Since they’re pretty boring I wanted to see if they had lives outside of basketball. Turns out they’re actually pretty close and do a lot of things together, I found it extremely odd that Kawhi was never with them. I know he’s a quiet guy but he’s literally in none of their pictures.

    Felt weird.

Lavar, on the other hand, is a sage, and we are all blessed to have his wisdom in our lives.

    (dramatic pause)

    Shee***********y*******t.

    Don't leave out the best part. He's a flat-earther.

All the scientists and astronauts and all of them are just flat out WRONG. Gonna have to change the globes to look like blue pancakes with brown-and-green maple syrup poured on them. The earth revolves like a conveyor belt, like a Burger King charbroiler, which is why we're hot in summer and cool in winter. Just depends on where you're placed on that "treadmill".

If I'm San Antonio, I ask for Ingram, Kuzma, and a pick at a minimum. I still hate it for SA.
