After a trio of trades, the Kings now have too many people on their roster and are expected to release Sam Cassell. If we have any pretense at being a playoff-caliber team, it would help to have a playoff-tested PG ready to step in should Rafer and Brooks falter. Having a veteran presence in the locker room, especially one as intense as Sam-I-Am, can't possibly hurt. Get 'er done, Morey.

tell you what if Sam I Am was on this team from the get go he would have certainly have given tmac more than an earful about his behavior this season. Sam may not be able to give too much on the court this season but in the locker room he would be one of the leaders on this team
We know not as a starter. Some of us just dont want him period. If he couldnt even stay with the champs in Boston, why bring him here?
Sam needs to retire... he is one of those players that can't come to terms with the fact that their career is over...
