Crazy weather. Keeping an eye on it... So far so good when it comes to the drainage system by Brazos town center...
Same. My parents on the West side of town just got flooded. They were barely able to pull their vehicles to higher ground before the flood waters overtook their garage. The water jumped a couple of feet within minutes. They have all sorts of live electronics and refrigerators in the garage. So not sure if that will cause an electric current in the water.
I was in Austin several days prior. Thank god I finished school and came back to the H. Austin got hit way worse apparently.
Neighborhood flooded out. Had to park on the first street and then run about 1/4 mile through the rain and floodwater to get to my house.
Serious question, why did you leave TC with the bulletin posted? Do you have Twitter? After checking Twitter I think maybe you would have stayed! Keep safe man.
I was just flying to hobby from Vegas, but hobby closed. Flight got diverted to Dallas along with some others, now I'm stuck here
Man I am lucky. Water was literally at the door step when it let up a little and the levels started dropping
