another round of rain in store for this afternoon. Hoping it won't get too bad like yesterday. Had to pull over and wait about an hour or so before I could make it home from work.
First heat wave of the year coming. The Atlantic and Gulf are too cool for tropical storm formation, though.
Pretty funny how you posted this about the time Tropical Storm Claudette was named. It's barely a storm though and will probably die soon.
I freaking hate sweating from 6am to 10pm. Ready for the ice age in 15 years. My Boxer is even like "**** that, rather poop in the kitchen, too hot."
I hate this weather. I sweat immediately after showering, what's the freaking point of showering. I step as soon as I go out I cant dress in my tight fit slim fit shirts because they will show sweat signs. Winter please come fast.
dealing with this as well after being at the gym in the morning. it's the least favorite part of my day. can take a cold shower...it still doesn't matter. can't get body temp down enough in time before i leave the gym to not sweat profusely on my way to the car.
I'm glad my truck has remote start. Black truck with black leather....remote start is the only thing saving me from dying when I get in it.
I'd like to take this time to say that I much prefer the absurd heat over cold weather, and by cold I mean below 60.
It's finally feeling like summer out there. I actually came back a little crisp after camping at Lake Travis over the weekend...I almost never burn. Sunday I put the baby pool in the back yard for the dogs and had to go get the hose. Came back to the backyard and they were standing in the waterless pool staring at me waiting....
That's what happens when you have close to two months with no rain and highs nearing or topping 100 during that span. Drought would pop up anywhere in those circumstances. Relief looks to be on the way though. Rain chances should start going up into next week with highs back down to the mid 90s
