This...it's always important to remember that some people have gone, or will go, through worse. I don't write that to imply you shouldn't feel pain or struggle with this, but to let you know it's definitely possible to stay strong and to keep pushing through this period in your life.
Life sucks sometimes. I can't imagine what you're going through right now but things will get better. You will be happy again. Thoughts are with you and your fam.
good grief man. i know i don't know you or anything, but that was tough to read. i'm praying that you can get through this tough time, and thoughts and prayers for your wife.
That's a lot more than most people could bear and yet you are considerate for others. Your wife is fortunate your Dad raised a man with such remarkable strength and fortitude, and I would imagine that your Dad would be proud that his legacy continues in such an honorable way. Prayers to you and your family.
There needs to be a "rep everyone in this thread" button! I helped my wife stand up and walk today and they removed her catheter, so from here on out, she's going to have to walk to the bathroom to pee. I also spoke to the officer who worked the accident scene from my dad's wreck. Evidence supports the theory that he was unconcaciois when he hir the tree, and probably not asleep. He was also wearing his seat belt, which was suprising (he. NEVER wore his seatbelt).
Good to hear that she's up and walking. That's rather strange about your dad. Wonder what happened? But perhaps he did not suffer from this. Will send a prayer.
Keep your head up, drox. Your wife and kids need you. It's what your father would have wanted. I have never lost a close family member before but I did lose a very important person in my life just last year. The pain is still there but I'm doing my best to live my life in a way that would make him proud. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
My deep condolences to you man. I hope you can gather all your strength to pull through this, and be a stronger man for your family. Stay strong OP.
