I appreciate the fact that when Cyberx has some info, he comes out and says it very clearly. Whether what he's hearing actually pans out or not, there is no guessing required with Cyberx.
Absolutely would have been better if instead of those two separate statements about Rockets (and others) being a suitor for Young and several teams (but not the Rockets) possibly giving a 1st for Lou, he took some words from those two statements and rearranged them so as to mean something completely different, like "Rockets are interested in Lou, might have to trade a 1st" That definitely would have been better. He clearly had some insight on some Lakers FO happenings, but that's not the same as saying he "called" this trade. IIRC he actually did "call" the Asik acquisition with great accuracy. topfive (jokingly) called this trade; Codman pretty clearly eluded to a possible Lou trade for Houston; cyber mentioned two separate Laker FO things that when altered to mean something they clearly did not, could be interpreted to have mentioned this trade. Regardless, I feel silly for even arguing this. In the end, cyber is obviously some sort of insider and an asset for this board who - if nothing else - makes every deadline and offseason much more fun; AND, we somehow exchanged Brewer and a low 1st for an actual NBA player who could* be a huge help for the next couple years. So that being the case... who cares about everything else. *could because we all remember the Lawson debacle that was also supposed to be a slam-dunk
I believe CyberX is legit, but you're kind of talking out of both sides of your mouth here... You posted this yesterday prior to the trade when RobK mentioned Lou Williams potentially going to Houston: Either he (CyberX) called it or he didn't. The fact is, he didn't call this one.
Stop messing around, gold plating **** and get to the jist of it: Real Insiders: Cyberx (although very hit and miss), Codman and Clutch (ofcourse) - You can call them the CCC Fake wannabe insiders: Plowman, _holic, Progs, Mr. Motieujunas, Roe4Christ, Shaun 11, KingDrew, ABS
It doesnt' matter how many thank you or whatever threads you make. Ppl who still don't believe Cyber will never believe in him unless he starts inhaling smoke in Delphi turns into a Nostradamus and predicts trades for players that haven't even be drafted yet.
This bump is Not cool. People will think a trade happened. I'd edit thread title if time to do so hadn't already expired.
