I want bev pre knee injury, he actually made sense on this team, now we have one of the worst PnR point guards going round who does the most bizzare shots since his return. :'(

Playing poorly is one thing. Plenty of players have played bad in the playoffs.

Giving the game away is entirely different matter.

Lin played poorly AND was giving the games away because of his bonehead mistakes.

Which is why your player wont even be in the league soon.

Harden is a MVP contender this season. Lin is a backup to rookie Jordan Clarkson and journeyman Ronnie Price. Everyone knows who the scrub is.

    LOL *tsk tsk*

PS. You should visit the thread in the NBA dish (link below). We will keep you updated on Jeremy's status.

Beverly was overhyped and overrated from the get go. He couldn't maintain that energy forever. He was a unknown player that that hit the scene with energy no one had seen in a long time, if ever. Injuries, scouting reports and be coming comfortable would decline his aggressiveness. Every point guard in the league would start getting scouting reports on him. Body pains, bruises, Injuries, and nobody trying to take your spot as a starter. Players always have that extra energy when they're trying to break into the league and that was no longer there.

Beverly and Lin are both easy guys to root for, with both having their strengths and weakness. We've all gone on and on about both. Lin's just were mental and seemed to hurt more, But he also had the most potential. Beverly was bound to fizzle. Honestly I felt many here rode Bev's jock just to spite Lin. Personally I feel if Lin had the right mentor and coach he could become a good player in this league.

At the end of the day in a few years we'll probably be asking whatever happened to both Bev and Lin. I'd be surprised if either one of them are still in the league. And we'll be laughing....... how silly that argument was...Bev and Lin...really?

    Pls lock this thread up.

Bev has sucked this season and is clearly not the Bev of last season. Rockets need an upgrade at point.

Lin has sucked even more, being back up to a career scrub in Price and now a Rookie in Clarkson who is outplaying him. Lin remains an insecure, cowardly, mental midget with a terrible basketball IQ and a below average abck up at best.

Rockets made the right choice to dump Lin and keep Bev for his friendly contract.

In short, they both suck and will never be the answer to the Rockets PG situation as starters. Bev could at least be used as a back up, Lin is a 3rd stringer.

Honestly, no one past Howard and Asik (on defense) showed up consistently in the playoffs. Harden was pretty bad to start the series but he kept us in Game 6; I believe he had 35, 8 and 9.

But Parsons was good the first 7 minutes of Game 1 then fell off a cliff. Lin had a good Game 5 but had so many late game turnovers in the other games. Jones was a no show. Hamilton, Casspi, Garcia and the rest of the bench stunk it up, with the exception of Daniels.

I still believe that if we forced a Game 7 at Houston, we would have won that series. Who knows how well we would have don against the Spurs; hopefully better than what the Blazers did.

Wow, Only responded your talking about the players performance in last playoffs. What a sensitive topic. What a reaction. Lol. If some one didn't show up in important playoffs, that's means he giving all the games away he was in.

Lin and Beverley are crap scrub starting PGs. The major difference (and why Bev is still here and not Lin) is their contracts.

Its not a sensitive topic. Very straightforward actually. Jeremy Lin just plain sucks.

I am not talking about just the performance.

I am talking about Jeremy Lin throwing games away.

Getting outplayed by Mo Williams, the perennial playoff choker? lol. That is as easy a match-up Lin could have asked for in the playoffs an d he blew it. Now he will get to watch the playoffs like the rest of us, from his couch.

Yes, we all saw that. but this is what I am really getting at....

...Look at the headless chicken that was throwing games away on boneheaded plays....

LOL. Pretty embarrassing comments for a PG.

Jeremy Lin still does not understand the game, which is why he is now packing lunches for rookie Jordan Clarkson.

Bonus: One of the the ugliest airballs I have ever seen....

It takes great magnitude of suckage to pull these kind of feats off, which only Jeremy Lin is capable of.

Jeremy Lin did not suck because of Rockets. Jeremy Lin sucked because he is Jeremy Lin.. He sucks no matter which jersey he has on....

You know how you can tell when a player sucks?

When youttube has this category for him...

TLDR verson: Jeremy Lin sucks. A lot.

    ALways been clear

Bev is fearless, high intensity, 200% player leaving everything out there player. Jerry Lin is basically a playoff p***y. Bruised chest? Give me a break

Bev does everything out there - Defense, knock down 3 pointers, floaters, take charges, assists etc. Jerry Lin? Airballs, missed layups, turnovers and Mo Williams robbing him

    Bev >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lin

He is much, much better then ln. Better defender, Shooter, leader and teammate.I doubt any sane General Manager would pass on Bev for Lin.
