I wonder how long the NBA will take to make a response to this, then come out with some lame statistic like, "Golden State was the most penalized teams in regards to illegal screens."
Send this and your examples to the League, Clutch. Sure, it won't do any good, but it would make some of us feel better that ClutchFans made the effort. Of course, your column is a fine effort by itself, but badger the League! It ain't fair!
It's so obvious, crazy that they're allowed to do it. Their trick I think, is to make it look like the screener is off balance and falling, thus moving to get sure footing. Maybe this plays on the refs' minds to give the screener the benefit of the doubt. At this point though, with the thousands of times it's happened over two seasons, it has to be deliberately blind eyes.
If Les had any balls like Cuban, he would send a video to the league, then publicly berate the refs/NBA for this. He will be fined at least $100k but it would be well worth it.
It costs money. Cuban is making Les look cheap and he really isn't compared to a lot of owners. Step up, make a fuss, and take the fine, Alexander!
If people have such a problem with it why don't other teams do it We can't call out poor officiating when we support James Harden
It a Lin fan can make a video of six plays covering three years highlighting her frustrations with officiating a single player and get nytimes and ESPN coverage, why is this not more a feature of playoff analysis. It won't help Houston, but the coming rounds of LAC, Pops and Lebron don't deserve this treatment
Many, Warriors fans and the media especially, will write this off as nothing more than whining, but it's not. It's not fair what the Warriors do, given that it's not called both ways. It's that simple. Well said, Clutch.
The whole Bogut backing up acting like he's being pushed or trying to get out of the way is very annoying If he's being pushed, call the foul ref. If you don't call a foul, then he is not allowed to move. You can't have it both ways. Call the defender for pushing thru him or call him for moving
I'm a Houston fan and I think it's whining. Just like I thought it was whining when people insisted Olajuwon traveled all the time or that Harden is a flopper who gets all the calls (last game aside). Fans always blame officiating for their team getting wrecked. Everyone complained about Jordan, about Shaq. People claim Duncan set all sort of illegal screens and grabbed on defense without getting called. 10 years from now, you'll be insisting that whoever's dominating the league is benefiting from a league-wide conspiracy too. Unless it's the Rockets.

You know why they get away with it? Because we don't have a coach like JVG who will pay the fine and call it out publicly. Instead we have an organization of enablers and get alongs.... We don't have fight from the top down. DD
