With the rockets done with games until ASB. They can have Markeiff commit to us after the game and have him sign the contract right before the lakers game.
What I like about Keef is hell play 3-5 for us. Nene will eventually be out of the rotation come playoff time Capela/Faried Tucker/Keef Gordon/Shump Harden/Green Cp3/Rivers That’s our squad going into the playoffs with nene, house as secret weapons
Man do I want Grizzlies to buy out CJ Miles or Avery Bradley!!! Avery after leaving LAC where he wasn’t being used correctly is finally doing work!!
I asked Bryan Oringher (former Wizards Video Coordinator) on twitter about Markieff Morris' ability to play "switch defense." Not encouraging.
No, it isn't. I wonder if there are other opinions out there on the subject re Morris. Switching, obviously, is a big part of our defense.
I posted numbers earlier about it. He’s been atrocious. My only hope is that it was lack of give a damn because the defense he’s played has been terrible, his rebounding has been terrible, etc

I think the "lack of give a damn" in Washington was real. If the Rockets are interested in Morris, I have to believe they are smart enough to know where he could fit in though. Then again, they thought they could fit in Melo and look how that turned out.
They thought MCW could fit too and they thought Ennis would replace Ariza. But yes, I generally agree with your take on that and even if he fails it's "free" to try him out.
Jeff Green would be perfect Starting PF, a tall Forward who can switch on defense, a good rebounder, a excellent shooter from 3. Played great with the Cavs last year, don't know if Wizards will release him.
The question I come back to is, who do you want getting backup PF minutes behind PJ Tucker. Morris or House? I kind of want the Rockets to get Morris for depth and diversity. But I am not blind to some fit issues there.
if the rockets weren't interested in him over the summer for minimum, when their were a number of spots open on the roster, there wouldn't be much interest now
Blazers are the team that signed him to his last contract i think, OKC then matched but...yeah, it's like he's repaying Portland for offering that deal now.
