He shoots 61% under the basket and 57% in the paint. Only 41% of his FGAs are in the paint.

There is no point in discussing a Howard for Love trade. It simply won't happen. The only way Love is in Houston next year is by trade.

Just simply not true that he would be in the same role here. Houston has Bev and Ariza........Cleveland has Kyrie Irving and JR Smith. The first two are off ball catch and shoot players, the second two are almost strictly ISO guys. Love would get plenty of touches here that he does not get in Cleveland.

"Barely considered us this summer"? He was under contract. There was no "considering".

There was plenty of considering this summer. If not, he wouldn't have been traded.

Love's opinion in summer 2014 might not be the same as his opinion in summer 2015. He has now experienced life outside of MIN, for one thing. Also, Harden looks to be a much better player now than he was a season ago. And who knows what is gonna happen for the remainder of this season and playoffs.

Really can't stand Zack Lowe, he loves to incorrectly frame an opposing view then argue against it

Saying Harden should be MVP because his team isn't as good doesn't devalue Curry, it isn't punishment. It raises Harden above him because part of the criteria for the award is the most valuable.

Where can I find out how many post up attempts he has per game and his % on making those? I'm thinking the numbers are not impressive.

I have no doubt he gets a ton of open looks under the basket and in the paint playing with offensive monsters like Lebron and Irving. He's always been an efficient player with the ball anyway once you separate his 3pt attempts.

I'm talking about post ups though.

That's not the point though. I agree his role here would be different. What you're saying is he'd get more shots and be more integral to the offense of this team and that's true.

But what I'm saying is: if he couldn't win enough being the 3rd best offensive option on a team with Lebron/Irving/defensive center Mozgov, why would he think that a team where he's the second offensive option could win it especially when that team is adding Dwight's insane defensive impact and adding Love's sub par defense?

Is our team with Love (minus Howard) really better than the current Cleveland squad? I don't think so. Do we have better coaching? Nope. Do we have an easier path to a title? Nope.

So is he coming here Melo style, i.e. for more shots, fame and money? Then why are WE making this deal?

Just seems like he wouldn't want to be here nor is there a trade we can make that would make us better with him.

Ah, ClutchFans' love affair with the glorified stat stuffer Kevin Love. Even if you ignore the fact the he is putrid on defense, all his stat stuffing in Minny did nothing to help the team come close to even sniffing the playoffs. Now he just looks lost in Cleveland.

Lastly, if larsv8 is campaigning hard for Love and calls those who don't want him on the Rockets "stupid," that's the seal of approval for not wanting him on the team. Larsv8 has been wrong about everything during his entire existence on ClutchFans. All he can only do now is blindly support Maury.

Over 12,000 posts and you still haven't learned to properly disagree with people. The fact that you refer to your fellow Rockets' fans as "stupid" for not holding the same position as you will ensure that most of them automatically view your subsequent thoughts and ideas in a negative light. Not that you care, since blind homerism and a complete lack of objectivity are standard operating procedure for you.

If you mean Love, he's in the 84th percentile this year posting up.

If it isn't Nook the intellectual crook. You've proven you have no idea what you're talking about. Remember when you said that DeAndre Jordan "lacks the instincts or intelligence to win DPOY" in my thread last year predicting that he would be a dark horse candidate for DPOY? Guess what? He finished third in the voting and you were nowhere to be found in that thread anymore:

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=246057

Now he's the leading candidate for DPOY and you're left looking like the intellectual crook that you are. Here's the problem: All of us live on planet Earth while you live in your own alternate reality called planet Nook.

If you should be LMFAO'ing at anybody, it's yourself.

Dwight is a declining superstar while Kevin Love is a rising star who can rebound and shoot 3s, which is arguably our weakest link. Even if it doesn't work out you can always flip him for another star player in a year or two. You can't say the same for a washed up Dwight.

DPOY front runner leading a below average defensive team. Is this guy serious?
