Bad commercials

i hated the "Saved by Zero!!!" Toyota commercials. They used to play a ton during rockets games.

 

Fucillo commercials.
They are "huge" in Florida.

The screaming pig from GEICO.

Seriously, what is the damn point? Everything you love about GEICO is now mobile?

Everything I love about an insurance company can be embodied by an annoying pig screaming "WHEEEEE"?

I'm satisfied with my current insurance company, but if I ever need to switch, GEICO and State Farm are completely blacklisted simply due to how incredibly annoying and pointless their barrage of advertisements are.

 

co-sign the Citibank mountain climbing chick (somebody left the gate on is what I always hear), any whimsical indie chick commercial- the Hyundai holiday ads and the Truvia Twinkle Twinkle BS.

but what gets me the worst is a series of Time Warner Business Class ads- I think they run locally or regionally because I don't see how a national ad campaign could feature the worst actors on the planet- consistently in every single ad.

can't even watch it after the first time. What compelled them to make a commercial like this? You're sitting down and trying to enjoy a nice basketball game and this disturbing commercial pops up to put nasty images and thoughts into your head. Still got chills from this.

 

The Beer commercial saying it's the best light american lager that was favored by critics. It's so sad that people buy ****ty beer, just so sad.

 

Kinda related to that, I remember ClutchCityReturns posted a Lack of Realism in Commercials thread way back. Not really BAD commercials, just about the off-from-reality aspects

bump... two current ones that really grind my gears:

the BK commercial with Chris Webber asking for the dude's sandwich. Why the F would this ever happen?

the LeBron McDonald's commercial. What kind of club of 'the best' would have LeBron as it's newest member while previously admitting Alex Morgan and Johnny Football?
