Are you worried about the Mavs now with Doncic and possibly poaching Capela?

    Capela isn't a borderline all star without Harden and CP3. Deandre wasn't the same this year without CP3. The Mavs will be battling Memphis for the last place in our division for awhile.

    Since the 2014 offseason, the Mavs have given out 3 max deals. Those went to Parsons, Matthews and Barnes. Now you're proposing that they offer a max deal to Capela?

    If anyone ever asks why the Mavs are so bad, that's all you need to tell them.

    Superstars are hard to acquire, everyone knows that but if you're going to keep giving out max deals, how about at least getting an all-star?

    Their best player is going to be a 19 year old rookie euro. Why in the world should we be worried?

    If both Doncic and Dennis Smith Jr fulfill their potential MAYBE they'll be good in a few years. But I don't know. The Mavs kind of shot themselves in the foot giving up that future 1st in the deal. It would take so much more than Capela to make them competitive (and the Rockets would likely just match if the Mavs gave Capela the max).
