Pitts did a hell of a job against Haynesworth on Sunday. Winston did well against Kearse on run plays, but did a pretty poor job of containing him in pass protection.
Man, I'm so happy for these guys. I'm glad that the rest of the country has finally come around and admitted that the Texans made the right call back in 2006. Hopefully both of these gentlemen will see many more of these invitations for years to come!
Daniels and Demeco are first alternates, with Slaton, Leach and Pitts all being second alternates. http://www.houstontexans.com/news/Story.asp?story_id=5017
Let's take one more look at the 2006 draft, shall we? 1. Mario Williams - 11 sacks in 14 games, just named a starter in first of many Pro Bowls. 2. Reggie Bush - Has rushed for 1,124 yards (4.9 yards per carry) and 8 TDs in 13 starts this year,....oh wait....sorry, those are Steve Slaton's stats. Reggie has missed 7 games and is our for the rest of the year. My bad. 3. Vince Young - Beat out by 36-year old journeyman, currently carrying a clipboard for Memphis and suing Enos Cabell.
