Vince should go ahead and trademark the term "backup" while he is at it. :p

Just read the rest of the article.

My goodness, Christy Johnson is an insufferable douchebag.

How anybody can root for that collection of classless ass-clowns in Nashpatch is beyond me. Just a repulsive collection of disgusting human beings.

Not being able to use his own initials is pretty ridiculous. That would make me mad if that was happening to me.

I saw this note about him and it made me angry...

I had a chance to ask Earl personally, "Would you ever consider yourself a Tennessee titan?" His answer was a quick "Hell no."

A long time ago Earl Campbell publicly said he wants nothing to do with the Tennessee Titans because he's from Texas, not Tennessee. I think it was when they tried to honor him a few years ago. He would have none of it.

Not all of us. To me, he became irrelevant the moment I heard "The Tennessee titans draft Vince..."

Now what kind of endorsement deal would Reebok do for a backup QB with an attitude problem?

oh come on, he's not an a-hole for doing this. He wants to use his initials. People were punks (or smart) for trademarking while he was in college..

Timing sucks cause he sucks.. and he's banking on the fact that he's gonna get better and have a reason to use them.

I have to agree...it's just business...Although, I have to think he'll have to settle and pay something to use them...

If you don't have to concentrate on football, might as well concentrate on a lawsuit. He's an american!

    exactly.

yeah, it's not like he nearly single-handedly won the national championship or anything.

I can't believe some of you guys are holding it against him that he wants the legal right to use his initials... Invinceable I'm not as sold on though.
