NBA coaching sources.. after monday's interview sources say James Borrego has progressed to a meeting with LES ALEXANDER
The more people they interview, the more I think they are moving on from the D'Antoni possibility, which makes me happy. So I am good

has been with the Spurs for a long time (Would not mind)... He would bring that ball movement mentality..
Don't know James Borrego from James Bond. Has he served in any leadership capacity while with the Spurs?
Not convinced at all that Borrego is the guy we need. When he was the lead assistant with the Magic and the interim HC he didnt' do anything, he was only a puppet of Shaw. When not even 22 year olds respect you then how can our team respect him? We need a coach to inspire respect and discipline and Borrego isn't that.
so what are the Rockets doing then.. They are not interviewing any worthy candidates... This needs to end..
oups I meant the puppet of Vaughn. Anyway that team had a very awful lockeroom, the players didn't listen to any coach, and they didn't even do many practices. And ofc their defence was godawful. And when Borrego became the interim there wasn't much of an improvement either.

Why not? I always liked him in Everyone Loves Raymond. Maybe he can crack some jokes to help the tension in the locker room.
So I'm guessing the initial vetting process is with Morey and if that interview goes well, les gets his turn
(sigh) It's tough to know what to make of these interviews, anyway. What is our real direction / philosophy (besides, "Let's hopefully not suck"?)
Wasn't this guy 10-20 in his only head coaching appearence??? Why not just keep JB if you want a crappy cheap coach?
