inb4 dallas also has interest. another non pure shooter tho, shot 39% from three last year but before that he was lucky to ever get above 30%. classic moray signing and would become a whipping boy on CF's
I think that i read that the pacers werent planning to resign him. That was a few weeks ago. Maybe it was because they were planning to draft a pg. Anyway how are we gonna sign him? With what money?
Last year was the first time he shot a decent clip... could be an anomaly but for the minimum he is a better defender and playmaker than terry.
he would be a good fit off the bench. A bully guard who creates for himself and others. Was hoping the Rockets got him last offseason.
He was making 1.2 Mil in 2014. So probably an Ish Smith type of min contract (guaranteed) for training camp and being cut at the end or fight for the last spot (being one of the option for a vet PG back up).
Last season he shot 44% and 47% from the corners. Admittedly, not many attempts. Overall he shot 39% from 3 last year.
I like Rodney ...solid player.. better than Bev. However, I just thought we could do better. He is not a relentless attacker more of a pick and pop. We need another creator or play more of a system offense. Too much isolation and pick and rolls.
I mean for the minimum sure, but I really was hoping we'd be targeting guys who are consistently good shooters.
I just realized Rodney Stuckey is at Vet min. That's cheap! I wouldn't mind signing him up for that price. He was over 6mil/year couple of years ago.
