Hmm, I thought all those stories was just the Chronicle trying to make the Astros look bad? Thought it was just bad reporting? Maybe, just maybe, it's not all peaches and cream in the Astros management team huh I'm not saying Bo did a great job, but he has had this team playing very well for it's talent level. I think as time goes by we are going to find that Luhnow is a tough man to work with
It was going to happen after the season anyways. So I'm glad that instead of delaying the inevitable they decided to act now and have a month for evaluation going into next year. As well as a head start on finding a new manager.
Luhnow acknowledged that and took the blame for the record. He implied there was a difference of opinion between Porter and the direction the Astros have chosen to take.
If you want to stay employed by the Houston Astros, you better learn how to say "Yes sir Jeff, Yes sir Jeff, Yes Jeff I agree with you 100%, Yes Sir Jeff"
Let's be the first team coached by an Ipad or I guess a Dell since this is TX. It's the American League after all so not sure how much difference it would make.
To be fair, that is true in a A LOT of jobs. Disagree with your boss all the time and lets see how long you keep your job.
When he is your boss you better. Try going to your boss and telling him you don't agree with what he is doing and want to do things your way instead. See if you don't get "Portered".
I have good discussions with my boss all the time. I never just blindly agree with him. Maybe i'm just lucky that I don't work for someone that expects me to just shut up and do what i'm told. The Astros front office just seems to be completely out of touch with reality, and they really don't seem to care either
