Bet he's talking to his close brothers throughout the league. Melo has lots of friends,but a very small circle of brothers. And, LaLa trumps the brothers. Her business and brand do well in NY, but her market could extend into a few big cities. Sorry, Milwaukee, you're out of luck.
Does he hold a grudge against Lin? IIRC, he blamed Lin's fans for getting tagged with a rep for being selfish. I'm thinking if the Rockets aren't able to move Lin but could still somehow someway swing a S&T. Would Lin being on the team influence his decision?

IF Melo is series about getting a Chip, H-Town should trump all other teams plus the Rockets have what Phil wants in a SNT expiring contracts for next Summers FA class. Let's see what is done on July 1st. Once again another exciting Summer in H-Town world :grin:

Not doable unless Melo takes a huge pay cut and Bulls can shed all of the remaining salary while taking none back. Really pore tweet from Simmons.
That lineup is a borderline one-way lineup. Afflalo is straight up the worst defender in the NBA. Rose is coming off an injury and was average at best regardless, and Melo is Melo. Noah really isn't the hide flaws-type defender or rim protector like a healthy Dwight but Gibson is great.
Why would this be moved to NBA dish? Clutch even posted an article dedicated to Carmelo. That article would be irrelevant if he didn't opt out.
