This part of justice article got me thinking about what Clutch said about Artest during the trading dead line in a previous thread. He didn't wanna tell us cause Ron was still here. I'm curious to know some of Ron's "Antics" last year that we didn't see. Care to elaborate Clutch?

We addressed this. Its like the movie Righteous Kill.
You thought De Niro was the bad guy (Artest) but all along it was Pacino (McGrady). C'mon now.

I can take a few stabs...

He yelled at younger players too much.

He probably ignored plans and hogged the ball, jacking up offensive plays for selfish shots

He was probably in full Ron Ron mode, with his mood swings.

He probably ignored every coach and player because he's Ron Artest after all.

He isn't as good as he claims and thinks he's better at guarding Kobe than Battier is, which is laughable.

He tried to take lead, when in fact Yao and Battier are much more suited for it.

He's overall a head case despite his good behavior.

He's a hell of a ball player but I ignored DDs comments about him but am now compelled to agree with him. Ron didn't fit here ...well for one yr. he did.

It'll be interesting to see how he and kobe coincide.

    Same about Shaq and LeBon.

Winning is the cure-all. IF, and only if the lakers are winning, there will be no issues. Same goes for Cleveland. Here's to both teams having a rough start.

I think it's going to be the same way it was with the Rockets. Everything is going to be all fine and good at first because everyone wants the same thing. But if things start going poorly (like it was in Houston) then Ron is probably going to butt heads with a lot of players, especially Kobe... and Ron is one of those types of guys that just doesn't take **** from anybody, which could be bad for the Lakers because Kobe is one of those types of guys that like to deal it to everybody.

For LeBron and Shaq, I think they will be fine. If LeBron is serious about winning a Championship, he'll do everything in his power to not butt heads with Shaq. Shaq can take the load off of LeBron on offense for a while. I think they will be just fine while they are playing together. Once Shaq leaves, though, he'll probably talk **** about LeBron like he does to everybody else.

i'd bet you pretty much covered it all. not only was there little issues outside of the court but there were HUGE issues on the court where he would at times think he WAS kobe or lebron on offense and he is OVERRATED on defense. tough guy to play against though
