    FIFY.

    :)

Not sure why you keep wanting to call me personally out BMJ, maybe we should meet over a beer and hammer things out in person?

You have a show coming up? I love theater.

Why would they want another log jam at the 4/5? Look at that roster.

The only thing I've taken away from this thread, is that people honestly think Pat Bev is still a good defender?

He has fallen off significantly, but still had 1.3 defensive win shares last season. His DRPM is -0.3, which is obviously not great, but for the Rockets last year he only trailed Howard, Capella, and Ariza (Dekker and Goudelock too, if you want to include guys that played 50 total minutes or less). Clearly the defense of the team as a whole was broken, but Bev is at least a passable defender, and hopefully another year removed from injury will return to form. He is under 30, so he should still have a couple years left in his prime.

I like Bev, but he cant beat me off the dribble and I'm 45. Ariza is a somewhat clutch player and I like him in a role as a 5th type of option. I dunno what people see in KJ. I mean it took 1 year for matthews jr, marquise daniels, and others to prove they are nba players. This KJ hype train is still blowing smoke

This sounds suspiciously like online dating. When the adult predator lures the adolescent into his trap. Don't fall for it Batman!!!

It's got nothing to do with injuries or his form for me.

It's his decision making. It's completely idiotic.

For someone who was great on the perimeter only a couple of seasons ago - his basketball IQ on that side of the ball has turned into Jeremy Lin offensive IQ territory.

I cringe every single time be pushes up at the halfway line to get in the face of a ballhandler, only for them to breeze by him without any effort whatsoever - forcing the rest of our defense to scramble.

It's honestly disgusting, and lead to a lot of our problems previously.

I'm praying that new defensive coordinator is pulling him aside after watching some film and giving him some advice.

Yep, even though i don't think Noel is something we have interest due to how Clint is playing. Maybe if he can be obtainable for a mediocre package, and at this point i don't really know what's his market value...but anyway, how many teams may be interested in him that much to pay with some good assets as today? Boston, Dallas (no assets though, unless they throw in their 1st rounder or Anderson and multiple 2nd rounders?), Minnie? There're some other teams that may have interest in him imo (Lakers, Nets), but i don't see what they can trade to Philly...Clarkson, Rondae? I don't know...i can actually see Cubes doing a desperation move if i think about that lol

Trevor and Bev.....man that's awful. Trevor has been great at providing 2 steals per game with being a go to for the corner three. Hope it's Bev, KJ since we stopped using him anyways, and Brewer. Try to get another pg or sg but I would hate to lose Trevor. Had a down year last year but he is a guy that has never given up during a game.

*I should have looked at the date. Wanted to go full Fire Morey mode if this was news from today.

I love and agree with the PB and Ariza part, LOL!!!!

I like KJ as a role player on this team. I also think he like Dekker plays better with the starters than he does with the rest of our bench especially JH.

Based on previous years, most of Morey's are out of nowhere.
So yeah, don't believe it until it happens

Beverley, Ariza, and our 2017 pick for Noel and their 2017 pick top 5 protected, or 2018 top 3 protected or 2019 no protection. I'd do it. They wouldn't lol.

Philly talks with a lot of teams, including us. Just remember, the teams may be accurate, but the names are not. Diamonds in the rough.

Still time for Hasheem Thabeet to vindicate you.

I've probably seen Noel live about a dozen times. Offensively, he's a really good passer and finisher at the rim, but he takes waaay too many jumpers and at times he's laughably bad at catching the ball. Which is weird, because he has great hands on D (albeit with a penchant to gamble), along with an impressive ability to move his feet in space (esp. for a 21-year-old). He is a weak rebounder though, and the left knee issues are scary.

IMO Noel would be a clear downgrade from Capela so there's only so much I'd be willing to trade for him, but if the Sixers feel like giving him away I'd love to have him as a backup 5.
