    Terminator Genisys - 5/10

Saw it tonight. Pretty awful but Arnold was welcome.

    Inside Out - 8/10

Had me crying, very emotional and mature storytelling here.

San Andreas - 2/10 because Alexandra Daddario is the only thing the movie did right.

The whole "Continental Hotel" subplot needs it's own Netflix series like yesterday.

    Jurassic World 8.8/10

Maybe my high rating is a matter of lukewarm expectations going in, but I enjoyed it a lot. Way better than any of the other sequels.

    Song of the Sea

Beautifully animated with a touching story rooted in Irish folklore. Reminded me a bit of the game Brothers. A definite must see if you like good animaton.

Lol, it would have gotten an 8 or 8.5 from me easy but the ending didn't totally click with me

    Mad Max: Fury Road

    9.5/10

Pure entertainment. Missing the half point because of all the negative things that have been brought up (story and characters could have been developed a tad more, some of it was illogical in a stupid way - eg. the guitar and drum guys), but otherwise pure fun to watch.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night - Visually striking Iranian film, slow as hell but it gives you some great moments along the way. Combination of a all kinds of styles. Worth a watch - B+

    Inside Out - 8/10.

Good not great. Comes up a little short of the Pixar standard. Written more for adults and girls, than say my tweenage son who I drugged along.

Nice to see Pixar to target girls with this film, as they did with Brave.

    "Advantageous" on Netflix.

Kind of a dystopian near future things where jobs are scarce and women are the "odd man out." Society has regressed in terms of gender equality. Protagonist goes to great lengths to provide for her daughter's future. Pretty good movie, believable low-fi sci-fi, but slow moving.

    Kingsman - 8/10

Thought the movie was really creative. It had a few corny spots but it allowed the movie to move along at a great pace. There wasn't really any parts that weren't worth watching. Would definitely watch again.

    Minions

The kid loved it, but I found it lacking. I loved Desicable Me 1 and 2, but this spinoff was clearly missing Gru and the girls. And the main villain was very underdeveloped for a main (and really only human) character.

Super entertaining movie - I like the action, acting, story and it was hilariously fun.
