Correct but the last three Disney Animation films (Wreck It Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6) have been made during John Lassiter's watch and one can easily see Pixar's influence.
Get Hard - 7/10. The story was predictable, but Hart and Ferrell were hilarious together. Comedy duo that reminded me of Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.
Pal Alto - 7.5/10 Really liked this one, easily one of the best "high-school" movies I've ever seen. Impressive directoral debut for Gia Coppola, I guess it runs in the family.
John Wick If you're in the mood for 2 hours of mindlessly ludicrous violence gymnastics, with no other - plot, acting, etc... - redeeming qualities, go for it.
While We're Young - 8/10 Movie was really good. First half was very funny without being slap your knee and spit your drink up through your nose funny. Nice performances by everyone in the film. I really liked it, but had to deduct from the last 20 or so minutes falling a little flat. I probably wouldn't seek out to watch it again, but if a buddy came over and hadn't seen it, and wanted to watch it, I would.
Kingsman - 7/10 I really enjoyed the movie. It's not the greatest movie ever made but I thought it was quite entertaining. There was one scene in particular that I felt was extremely effective. Spoiler The mass shooting scene was really well done. They had a lot of guts to do that to that character.
I thought the near end scene where he's shooting from his car while driving was pretty slick. Didn't think I'd seen something quite like that before.
Jurassic World - 9/10 Not sure if the Chinese government censored the film or not - I saw it in Shanghai. What I saw I really enjoyed.
Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies - 7/10 Best of the Hobbit trilogy IMO. Lot of action and moved at a fairly decent pace unlike Hobbit 1. Focus - 4/10 Just didn't click for me. Poor character development. It was entertaining at times but as a whole I thought it sucked. If it weren't for Margot Robbie I might have just stopped watching. Theory of Everything - 9/10 Really enjoyed this movie. I don't know anything more about the life of Stephen Hawking other than this movie but it was very interesting and felt very real. Eddie Redmayne was fantastic as was Felicity Jones.
Mad Max Fury Road - 5/10 Did not like, boring storyline. Jurassic World - 9/10 Had me interested the whole time even though I didn't want to watch this movie.
I liked that Swearengen gave him a brand new bulletproof car (because why? because why not), and he shot everyone out of it with the windows rolled down, and all the bullets the bad guys shot happened to hit the door panels and glass that was all magically bulletproof and nothing went through the open windows. It was an awesomely ridiculously stupid movie.
