Oh btw, I predict we take this one en route 35+ - 14-. FYI, if no knows this yet, the Texans are statistically a top 5 offensive team and they're going against one of the worst, if not the worst, defensive team in the league. The Lions gave up 31+ pts in all of their games except their last one. I expect them to come out spent and drain from using all their energy to look like a decent team last week. This is going to be a field day for Matt, AJ, and Slaton.
For some reason, I'm worried about the WRs for the Lions having big games against our CBs. Hopefully, that fear will subside before kickoff on Sunday. They really need to win this game and get some real momentum going for themselves.
It's a trap game for the Texans. After impressive near-victories against Jacksonville and Indianapolis and an equally impressive last-minute victory against Miami-Dade High School, the Texans are looking down the schedule and their sure run to the playoffs encounters a minor setback. 17-29 1-5. Superbowl, here we come!
Not to sound picky or anything, Castor27, but the start time is at 3:05, not 3:15. An easy way to tell if a game will start at 3:05 or 3:15 is that the network that has the doubleheader will have their late games start at 3:15. The network that doesn't have the doubleheader will have their late games start at 3:05. Since CBS has the doubleheader this week, their late games start at 3:15, while the Fox late games start at 3:05. It's not too often the Texans have a late timeslot at home. I prefer noon games but it's a change of pace for the next two games. Getting back to the game, I think this will be a pretty close contest. I think the Texans will get a TD late to seal the deal. Kitna won't be playing. In fact, he might be out for the year. Texans 30 Lions 20 Btw, Chris Rose and JC Pearson will call the game for Fox.
Can a team that is 1-4 have a trap game? Perhaps our Texans can. Shoot we almost lost the last game on a DEFENSIVE turnover. I'm thinking a blowout for the Texans this Sunday.
That post was dripping with sarcasm. I'm still leaning towards a loss for this Sunday, however. Though, of course, I don't want to see them lose.
Texans 42 - Andre Johnson's record-setting receiving game 250+ yards Kitties 12 - 4 field goals ¡¡¡¡¡VAMOS, TEXANS!!!!! WTF was the problem before, BaNdWaGoNer?
Texans need a statement game. What makes me sick is that we'd be 4 and 2 if we had won the Jacksonville and Indy game. Houston 42 Detroit 17 Slaton has 145 rushing yards on 20 carries. Schaub has 350 passing yards, 3 TDs and 1 Int. Mario has 2.5 sacks.
