So I was at the Barnes and Noble in Town and Country Village looking for my last summer reading book. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, a captivating man resembling a wizard came into focus. This wizard is very popular on this website. I casually stood beside him and stared at the same shelf he was for a while before asking him, (Obvious Chris Paul reference) "do you think they have any books on how to acquire a certain all-star point guard?" The wizard then looked up and began to laugh as I shook his hand and congratulated him on a job well done to which he very cooly responded "let's win some games first." I confidently assured him, "we will." As I slowly walked away and let my experience sink in, I realized what a great Clutchfans idea this would be. Then I realized nobody would believe this story without a picture. I waited by the door and as he exited the store I held the door for him. As he bid me goodnight I found the courage to ask for one more request, "I hate to bother you again, but nobody on Clutchfans will believe I met you without a picture." To this he replied, "sure thing." Spoiler That's right...I met Daryl Morey!
Awesome story. Hopefully, he takes your advice in stride, grabs us Chris Paul, and wins us some championships
Are you nuts!!! This Daryl Morey ... The King of GMs and he just happends to be our (Rockets) GM. STOP HATIN'
I didn't read the whole thing.. sorry.. i only read the wizard part and just assumed he was not talking about something related to basketball.. until i saw the picture... Im not hating, i like Daryl morey... he is a great GM
I don't think what we would have to give up would be worth it. I'm not a huge fan of guys "demanding" trades either. I'm high on what Aaron Brooks can do with Kevin Martin. CP3 isn't what we need immediately. We need another, young scoring forward with height.
