As I'm watching Sportscenter sipping on my coffee, they played the Lakers Raptors highlights. Kobe Bean Bryant as of 12/1/14 sitting at 32,153 points, 6,693 rebs and 6003 asts as well as 1858 steals and 624 blocks. This over 19 seasons in the NBA. No, I am not a Kobe fan. In fact, I dislike him a lot. I think he's a douche, as well as a ballhog. But when it's all said and done, the man has got an MVP, 5 nba championships, and 2 finals MVPs. He's a bad man on the court, and currently the only guy who's got 30,000 points AND 6,000 assists for their career. I tip my hat to the living legend, Kobe Bryant.
I prefer my mambas white. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/VD69BGp_luk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Good to see some clutchfans.net members (one of the most homer'ish sports forums I know of) give love to Kobe. His work ethic is legendary and what he is doing at his age is inspiring to all nba players as well as over the hill weekend warriors like me all over the world.
I really enjoyed watching how Kobe's game has evolved over the years. On the court, he is hard-working, precise, and fierce. Very fun to watch. Off the court is another story, but I have nothing but respect for Kobe the ball player.
Who was the owner and gm of that era? Thats who I respect. Guy got it done. He acquired the best players, coaches and role players without implementing a basketball philosophy.
Call me a Rockets homer or whatever else all you want... But I do not respect Kobe. I can't stand watching him play. I can't wait until he retires so that ESPN and other networks will stop talking about him.
There is not shortage of respect for him, it goes without saying. But we don't like his kind around here.
