IF brooklyn bows down to lebron and gives him JJ for free, then we can very easily go trade Kpap for Jack. They would have already go to "saving money" mode.

And then go to Sacramento and trade Jones for Collison straight up.

So that's probably equal to 7M if you add taxes the way they tax in Canada... Damn it Morey, I told you not to miss on Joseph!

So we would have Jack, Collison and Bev as our PG rotation? I like the sound of that, but I assume Jack will see more minutes as back-up SG if we get both Jack and Collison.

Looking at the chart - would Mavs have been better off with 4/30 for Aminu or 4/57 for Wes?

Aminu had 1 good week against us in the playoffs, but let's not pretend he is much to mention apart from that....

Matthews is a 15ppg scorer on his career. Aminu is at 6.
Matthews is a 6 year man compared to Aminu at 5...

Aminu would've been a backup behind Parsons. Matthews(if healthy) will be their starter at the 2 replacing Ellis.

I still don't know why they couldn't resign Monta though. He got less than Matthews from the Pacers and I think he's a better fit for the Mavs since they need a playmaker at that position if Barea and/or Lin is gonna be their starting PG.

Considering how aggressive Ainge was in trying to dump picks/move up in the draft, I'd bet he is more inclined to add a promising player that can grow with the team for cheap.

I wonder how much Boston values Marcus Smart. They have 4 PGs now wonder who will be the odd men out.

We also supposedly did them a solid when we drove Rondo's price up.

Morey and Ainge are good friends but I think they are both too smart to want to deal with each other.

What I have learnt from this off-season is:

Chances that Doc Rocket is likely wrong: 75%

Chances that Doc Rocket is definitely wrong: 99

I believe this is highly likely. Daryl does not stand pat for long and is always thinking several steps ahead.

For us to criticize Daryl Morey in how he puts the Rockets roster together is like someone who just completed high school algebra criticizing the way Einstein did his work with the theory of relativity.

Criticize BBH all you want but he absolutely understands the salary cap. His knowledge of that subject is very high.

Aminu would have had starters minutes in Dallas for sure. They play him a ton at the PF spot. Dirk is no spring chicken and his defense is a very real liability and Dirk knows it.

What do you mean? I don't recall either of them saying anything out of the ordinary for us. It's your fault if you misconstrued Doc Rocket's LMA opinion as anything more than his perception.

Remember, they are more like weather forecasters than soothsayers
