Why are they annoying? For many of them it's their 15 minutes of fame but for most it's possibly the single most important decision of their life. Let them have their moment and wish them well with their decision, regardless of what it is. If they bother you don't keep follow them.

They have millions of grown-ass men clicking refresh thousands of times in an hour to get the latest internet rumor on what school they will choose. The same men who call them "divas" when they have a little fun with it.
And those men's wives are middle school teachers that sleep with those same kids, it's a vicious cycle.

I saw that. The whole thing was pretty sad I thought. It's freaking football recruiting. Is it too much too ask to just cover the whole process with out getting personal at anyone. The young men are trying to make the best decision they can and then two grown men covering the process are acting like 12 year olds. Very much Jerry Springer like.
