Idk, with all the threads about battier, and watching the game, it just seems like he doesnt fit in here anymore. I love the guy, but last night you could tell that he doesnt have that little extra at the end to put us on top. Iggy had excellent ball movement in the world championships and can play well above average defense. Do you guys think he could make THAT much of a difference if morey makes the trade for him? Remember that the sixers DO have evan turner playing at the 3
I was impressed by his defense during FIBA world championship. He will be a great replacement for Battier.
Iggy would be great for this team because he is a great passer, rebounder, and defensive player. Unfortunately, you are wrong about the rotation of the sixers. Iggy is starting at SG and Kapono is starting at SF over Turner, at least for now.
Iggy is the perfect fit for this team. Un fortunately the summer games made Iggy's value go up. Right now he is their best player and if Evan turner can't beat out Kapono yet the worst thing they could do is trade Iggy for draft picks. The only reason the Sixers might even consider trading Iggy is they suck so bad the first half of the season they clearly see rebuilding is the way to go. And even then as posted earlier they want more than Battier and Jeffries. So I say forget about Iggy.
Good spot; and, of course, no trade partner would see what you have so they'll offer their studlies. If you are down on your guy why would someone else look upon him as gold?
If we trade Battier, I would rather have a 3 man rotation at the wings with Budinger, Martin and Lee...... DD
With Iggy's stellar defensive plays during the Championship, his stock is way too high for Battier+Jeffries. Morey's good but he's not THAT good.
Why would the Sixers want Battier and Jeffries for Iggy? They would have to be the dumbest organization ever to agree to that
Yes, Morey should trade players based on the number of negative threads they have in the GARM. Morey, I hope you're reading this forum!!!
