Smh @ the Kobe hate. I know he did elbow Battier but come on. Why can't some of you just appreciate greatness? The guy ruled an era and is one of the ten greatest players of all time.
ok wade hit kobe in the face it was an accident its not like he did it on purpose. yea it would be a flagrant but its the all star game there just having fun
Beat writer Kevin Ding reported Monday that Kobe Bryant (nose) did not suffer a concussion, and he will be evaluated by a ear, nose, and throat specialist on Tuesday afternoon. This is somewhat interesting because Ding is contradicting Adrian Wojnarowski's earlier report that Kobe suffered a mild concussion, and one can only speculate as to how there could be any confusion about a concussion diagnosis. If Ding's report holds true, then Bryant isn't going to be subjected to the league's concussion protocols. Either way, we have yet to hear a report that he is in jeopardy of missing Wednesday's game.
Wade and Kobe are both douches. I love watching them play, but both deserve to get there noses broken.
**** like this makes you respect Kobe more (though as a Rocket fan, I shouldn't be complaining about flopping, still don't like it).
Who cares? The game is too pussified nowadays. I'd rather see more rivalries and hard fouls than hugging and flopping.
It's funny to me when I hear people call LeBron or Kobe a douche. If one had to give a top 3 ranking in the NBA, I think Wade rapidly rose to the top of that list from the moment the Heat won the title in 2006. There are few players with less humility and that act "faker" than Wade in the league. Cheap shot foul by him which he admitted to so that should be no debate. Poor sport with his comments afterwards but whatever, bring on the 2nd half of the season.
Don't like Kobe or Dwade but that was a flagrant foul in a freakin all-star game. Guys aren't playing any kinda defense and then Wade decides to commit what was basically the first flagrant in the history of the all-star game. Pretty dirty to say the least. It's one thing if the guys are playing at that intensity but they're not.
If he bloodied up a Rockets player I'd probably feel differently but 'eh it's Kobe, karma was bound to get him sometime.
This reminded me of when Sean Taylor laid a vicious hit to that punter in the Pro Bowl a few years ago.
