Hard to tell from such a small sample, but we know that we'll be looking at better QB play this week than last week so why not look on the bright side?

Yeah, shouldn't be much of a story since Thad can't possibly know enough of the system to be relied on in emergency but it shows that BOB is really wanting to redshirt Savage this season
Hard to believe it's been two years since the Texans played on Thanksgiving. Seems like the game was yesterday. That game was close to the start of our decline. We beat Tennessee the following week, then lost to New England after that on MNF. Some people blame the letter jackets for the loss, but it was the play on the field that did us in. Since that Thanksgiving game against Detroit two years ago, the Texans are 10-24. Not exactly tearing up the league. Might be awhile before we play on Thanksgiving again, especially with the new format for picking games. We're not really a big draw ratings wise. I think it really started the week before vs. Jacksonville when we fell behind 2 TDs in the 4th. Schaub had a great game but had to throw the ball 55 times. Then he had to throw it 48 more times in another OT game 4 days later vs. Detroit. He wasn't the same after that. I remember a lot of theorizing that he'd overworked his arm and was suffering from a "dead arm". We were lucky to win that Thanksgiving game too. If not for the refs messing up on that Justin Forsett TD and Jim Scwartz negating the review by throwing the challenge flag (and that being a stupid rule anyway), the Lions win that game.
Cant wait to watch the ol amish rifle killin out there on the field again. On second thought I will probably have things to do.
