So, I shower in the morning and I pretty much thought that was common practice, but my roommate this year takes showers at night before he goes to bed and then doesn't shower the next morning. I think this is a little weird, but maybe I'm wrong. When do you guys shower?
I shower in the morning, but showering at night too might not be a bad idea. Seems weird to not shower and then get into a "clean" bed.
At night, I don't like to go to sleep dirty. Then I shower in the morning becuase it wakes me up. If I could only shower once then it would be nights.
From what I understand Asians usually shower at night. This probably decreases with time spent in the US. I shower in the mornings. Otherwise I'll have bed head the next day. Also, you want your "most ripe" time (ie the time farthest from your last shower) to be right when you wake up, as opposed to late at night when you might be interacting with others.
I shower at night, because I'm not a morning person and that's one less thing to do when I can barely drag myself around. Also, there's my nearly waist-length hair. If I do it at night, wrap it up in a towel for a while, then sleep on another towel, it will be mostly dry in the morning. On the other hand, if I wash it in the morning, I have to go to school with wet hair. (I hate blow dryers.) It looks weird for a while, and often the inside of the ponytail is still damp in midafternoon. I especially like to avoid showering in the morning in the winter. I'm afraid my hair will turn into an icicle.
As for myself, I shower in the morning or else I feel kind of grimey during the day. There is also the topic of bedhead like bigtexxx mentioned. Though sometimes I shower in the afternoon/night too because I'll workout after I get done with classes/work.
Well, in that case, if you have it bad enough, why don't you just stand in the shower and do whatever you're going to do? Just make sure to disinfect the bathtub afterwards.
