I used to shower every morning, but I switched when I got married. I shower at night now (my wife showers at night) and I like the idea of getting in clean sheets while clean. I'll shower again in the morning sometimes, but not usually. I also shower if I work up a sweat by exercising or doing yard work.
When I was in elementary, and a little during junior high, I'd shower at night. Then, I started doing my hair and taking care of those sorts of things, and noticed it was easier to do my hair in the morning after a shower. I've been doing that ever since.
And all this time I thought you had to leave your clothes on...little wonder why I get these weird looks from people when they see me with soggy clothes! I always shower in the morning and sometimes at lunch if I had been out running 3 miles. I have also been known to take a shower at night but not really use soap - just to take a hot shower to relax myself.
I shower at night. To me its the best feeling in the world when you get out of the shower and hop into bed feeling so fresh and so clean. Then I turn on the fan and watch some tv before I go to sleep.
I showered at night after work (worked evening shift then) until I got married. My wife complained about the noise when I got in so I switched to the morning 15+ years ago. I also must be fresh going into work. It is totaly gross when you get on an elevator with someone in the early morning (who obviously showered before going to bed) and they already smell like outdoors. This includes women. This is off the subject, but I just started wearing cologne after Christmas. My wife says I smell a lot better when I get home. I must admit, it's very good cologne.
i work out at night so i shower right afterward. I also shower after i get done having sex and that ranges from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m..
Another idea for a poll would be to ask how often people shower. I think you might be surprised by how often people do. I normally shower at night. If it's a thursday/weekend I normally do aroudn 8pm just before I head out to the bars. I shower everynow and then in the morning, but most of my showers are at night.
I used to shower at night just because it's how I grew up. Then I showered at night because there was no way in hell I was going to go to sleep caked in sweat and grass from lacrosse practice and it was a nice way to relax before crashing out. The drawback was, all the other girls in the dorm took showers at the same time of night too. So it was a 50/50 shot whether or not I'd get a hot shower. But then I actually started styling my hair (not just throwing it in a pony tail every day) and so I started taking showers in the morning, plus it's a nice way to warm up in the morning (my house is freezing cold). So if I don't give a rat's ass what my hair looks like, I'll shower at night. Otherwise it's now morning for me.
