Anyone know if he's sick or something only played 13 minutes Or is KMart getting the Bud treatment and demoted to 3rd string
we need to do some sort of huge trade. get rid of him and scola. ppat and hill are developing into scola and more
Spoiler Why are you mad OP? Do we really need Landry when we have Scola, Patterson, Hill, Morris, etc.
Kevin Martin hurts the team every second he isn't knocking down shots. I like the way Kevin Mchale is handling him. When Martin isn't being aggressive he hurts the team. He doesn't have the playmaking ability of Lowry, Dragic, or even Lee so if he doesn't drive or shoot he's just hurting our ball movement. I can't count how many times I see him just stand at the 3 point line with ball before he eventually passes. Even Parsons will try to attack when he doesn't have the shot. The ball just moves so much better when he isn't on the court. He's not a "ball stopper" he's just incapable of creating for himself and others. And, I didn't even mention his defense, which we all know is deplorable. He seems afraid to go inside because he knows he won't get the touch fouls he's used to getting. He's not yet ok with the idea that he will have to go inside with the mindset of actually scoring or take a real foul. I don't know if he'll ever be ok with it.
3 bad games but before this road trip..16 pts, 29 pts, 29 pts, missed 2 games, 29 pts, 31 pts, 25 pts, 32 pts, 11 pts, 25 pts, 28 pts. You guys have short memory.
He will come around. Some things to consider: 1) Martin, Gordon, Scola, Gasol, Aminu, and Kaman. What do all of these players have in common? They were all traded or almost traded in the off season for Chris Paul. Each of them are having the worst season of their career. Odom is coming off of a career year winning the 6th man award and he is having his worst season. They feel betrayed by their team, the coaching staff and the GM. Some more than others. 2) He needs to get acclimated to a new coaching system. Scola hasn't made the adjustment either. 3) I don't think he or Scola will ever be the same in terms of scoring efficiency. Adelman's offense is designed to bring the most offense out of the best players by speeding up the game, moving the ball around, and taking good shots. Martin is designed for Rick's offense.
very short memory. But just looking at those last 2 games, he has resorted back to not moving without the ball and ball movement is hideous when the starters are out there. he just camps out in the three point lane. Even the haters, will admit that's not his game.
