Another note to add to this necrothread: Dan Fegan ended the Rockets career of another notable player. Anyone know who that I'm referring to? You young cats might not remember the guy from Nigeria...

Fegan is the Devil. Any time one of our players signs with him you know it won't end well. (cue countdown to Dwight betrayal... :( )

Parsons was a huge part of the recruitment of Dwight to the Rockets. Parsons would look like a massive hypocrite if he was pushing the "sacrifice money for winning" angle that it seems was the major emphasis in the rocket's pitch to Dwight.

But these athletes have very short careers and they need to make as much money as possible in it. And if he's the max player he claims to be, then I guess he can go ring chasing in the twilight of his career

I was going to ask this very question. I'm sorry, but it's not happening. CP is just not good enough to become a star. CP is a fourth option in my opinion. He played a pivotal role for the Rockets and I appreciate it. Star? SMH.

I would have been happy if the Rockets matched if we landed Bosh. No way Parsons is worth that kind of money. Now that the dust has settled and my mind is clear, bye, thanks for the memories.

Interesting to look back at this moment with the benefit of hindsight

No. Harden was a closer and a playmaker.

If Parsons performs to his salary next year, it could very well mean we're playing him wrong.

Getting a better coach will wipe away this offseason's **** taste.

What would be performing to his salary? All Star?

He may put up more points on more touches alone, I'm not sure that means we used him wrong.

Wrong again. Harden was the best player on the bench not some glue guy.

He will perform to that salary. He's going to be the second option on the perimeter after Ellis. He will have the ball in his hands a plenty. However, expect his FG% numbers to go down, probably below 43% and 35%. He'll probably average like 18 ppg, 5 rbg, 4 apg. Give or take a couple obviously.

$15 million in Dallas makes more sense than $15 million here. Dallas can afford it and needs talent. Houston is looking to contend, which means we are looking for complimentary pieces, and we weren't willing to sacrifice the acquisition of said complimentary pieces for a big contract. Dallas thinks that they are trying to contend, but in reality they are probably a second round exit and that'll probably be the best result in the Ellis-Parsons Era, unless they get some other star.

How can he have many shots when Dirk and Ellis are there too? You mean, Parsons will try to be the closer? And who's gonna defend in that line-up?

3 coaches and it's always the coach's fault.

Cause Marion and Carter will both be gone. And Calderon, and I don't think Carlilse will trust Felton that much lol.

No one will defend. They're gonna be atrocious on defense. Tyson is a shell of his former self and he's their anchor.
