I don't think I would drive out to a secluded rural area to follow up on a Craig's List ad. lol

I have tons of stuff I can sell on Ebay, but how much of a pain is the shipping? Do you have to buy a bunch of boxes and tape, etc. and do everything yourself? Or can you just take it to the post office and have them do all the packaging, addressing, etc.?

The post office will not package your items. They do offer some packages that may make selling easier but I would recommend buying packaging on eBay itself. You can get bulk envelopes/bubble wrap/boxes for about 1/10th of the cost of going to an office supply store.

There may still be some businesses open where you drop off your stuff and they'll sell it for you on eBay for a percentage of the sale. I kinda doubt it. Those businesses were rip offs.

If I am not mistaken, you can request boxes and envelopes from USPS for free and they will drop them off. I know we do that here at my office but we also have a postage meter here, so that may be part of that deal.
