Of those you listed: "Gotham" 8:00 p.m. ET (Fox): Episode 1 is already online. Was pretty good "Minority Report" 9:00 p.m. ET (Fox): Saw the pilot online and the acting was VERY VERY bad Thursday, Sept. 24 "Heroes Reborn" 8:00 p.m. ET (NBC): I'll check it out "The Blacklist" 9:00 p.m. ET (NBC): One of my favorite shows Wednesday, Oct. 7 "Arrow" 8:00 p.m. ET (The CW): I'm also worried. Sunday, Oct. 11 "The Walking Dead" 9:00 p.m. ET (AMC): Of course Friday, Oct. 30 "Grimm" 9:00 p.m. ET (NBC): Looking forward to the "dark" turn it's supposed to take.
Monday, Sept. 21 "Gotham" 8:00 p.m. ET (Fox) "Minority Report" 9:00 p.m. ET (Fox) "Scorpion" 9:00 p.m. ET (CBS) "Blindspot" 10:00 p.m. ET (NBC) -------- All these I think will get a Watch out of me at some point While a different premise BLINDSPOT gives me the feel of the failed show INTELLIGENCE with the guy from LOST. I could not get into Scorpion last year. The 'Smartest guys in the room' thing was kind of boring Its like they took McGyver and broke him into 5 or 6 people Except they not as clever or witty Minority Report - All i know its that its got GOODE! Meagan Goode is good enough to get my eyes on her Gotham - I am hearing good things about this season which could not be worse than last season I found it boring last year and I LOVE JADA but Fish Mooney was annoying I would like to see more minority characters I liked Angel [from Dexter]'s character Rocket River
I was waiting for you to make this tread Rocket River! I thought the the Summer 2015 thread was genius! A place to talk about the shows we watch we know don't deserve a dedicated thread. There are A LOT of shows premiering. Too many. I was excited about Minority Report because of Meagan Good. She is damn fine, but I'm not sure she can save a sci fi show on the FOX network. Really excited about Scream Queens. looks hilarious. I thought I was the only one who watches Continuum. Pretty good sci fi show about time travel no one watches. I have no idea what's going on, but I'm pleasantly confused.
Actually I started watching it on your recommendation. It's an awesome show! I heard this season will be the last though, too bad.
I'm so glad you like it! There are so few solid sci-fi shows out there. It sucks this is the last season, but I think it's run its course. I'm so confused I have no idea what anyone is doing anymore. I'm seriously on the hunt for a map of allegiances and future implications.
Comedy: You're the Worst (FXX) South Park (Comedy Central) Brooklyn Nine Nine (Fox) Funny or Die's Billy on the Street (TruTV) Drama: The Leftovers (HBO) The Walking Dead (AMC) Fargo (FX)
I keep eyeing this one . . . but could not pull the trigger on it yet So you saying its worth it Rocket River
I just watched the first season a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I was pretty skeptical going into it. It's good for some laughs and I was surprised at how much I started to care about the characters. I'd recommend it.
They really should try to make more of an effort to premiere at the start of September. Not completely related, I am sick of the hold Hulu has on so much new television, between both the advertising and chintzing on episode allotments it can get very annoying for a paid service.
Probably not, I think it's actually traditional for the major broadcasters to hold off until after the Emmys. I was just separately complaining about how few new episodes they will have available for some shows; like 2-5 episodes for a whole season or something like that.
