I know drunkness is harmful, but I'm talking about reasonable amount of alcohol consumption. How much alcohol is too much? Is one beer a day going to harm you in the long run?
I believe one beer a day is good for you. There was a recent study that said 4+ beers multiple times a weak is harmful to your heart.
A little alcohol is good for you I hear..... But however.....you could ask my dad if alcohol is good for you, but due to alcohol he is a little difficult to track down since it killed him. He didn't understand moderation though.
drinking in moderation is no worse than you than anything else. In fact, there are some studies that show controlled drinking can actually be beneficial in certain aspects, for example red wine good for the heart.
One beer a day isn't going to hurt. The problem is letting it escalate. What's one more beer, right? In college, my roommate's one beer a day turned into 14 beers a day on average.
I'm gonna have two whiskey/ginger ales when I get home followed by a few Milwaukee's Best. Three six packs...the sign of the Beast.
red wine is great for your cardiovascular health. it helps raise HDL cholosteral (good)and lower LDL cholosteral (bad). it also has antioxidents. And you dont have to restrict it to 1 glass either...2-3 is said to be ok. i've seen a few articles that beer provides some of the same benefits to the heart. but again, this is all in moderation. something i dont plan on this weekend
yeah, but that scares me. i want to drink a glass of wine. but i don't want to need to drink a glass(es) of wine.
