33 post in but I found my thoughts exactly. I actually I like Doc as a person but his admission proves he lost that series. I would have been telling my team they gotta take the series by the throat, don't even look at the scoreboard until the game is over. They screwed up and let in the light.

As far a luck...Blake Griffin put the curse on the team with that 360 move, I told my son when that happened their luck was about to run out and ours was going to kick in. You gotta keep the faith!

Oh man, is that pathetic. The Clippers are a veteran team that hasn't advanced past the second round and Rivers couldn't get them to focus? Holy crap...

So in other words... Doc did a poor job coaching in that series. Thanks for coming clean Doc.

Championship teams don't take ANYONE lightly.

Doc mentioning this just shows how weak minded his team was, and that he failed in his job to get them focused.

The big question is why in the world would he bring this up publicly?

If his players (Clippers) failed the mission at hand because of lack of focus, then the failure falls on their coach.

For a loser organization who has NEVER even made to a Western Conference finals, Rivers needs to just shut up and own up to his mistakes. Until they prove themselves to a chip, they will have be a paper tiger.

The biggest shock to me is him crying about the refs. As soon as he said that I quit taking it seriously. Howard gets robbed on calls every game all season. They did Yao the same way. Shaq also.

The clippers didn't run out of gas or anything like that. Austin Rivers, who was averaging 7 ppg in the regular season dropped 17 and 25 between 2 games.

When Rivers came back to earth, so did the Clippers.
