"Late in the clock, it would end up in the hands of someone who can't beat their man ...." Another dig on Rafer?
The basic game plan, according to Morey: On defense: take away perimeter shots and shots in the paint On Offense: Push it in transition If that's not there, get it to Yao If he's fronted, swing the ball to the weak side Late in the clock, run high pick and roll with the PGs.
Im sure Rafer could be included there...but I think its also a knock on TMac...TMac would be the one with the ball in his hands and he'd just pull up for the long jumper.
Morey said they plan on resigning Ron at this point, but there's the rest of the season to determine that.
According to Morey, they are currently watching some college players who might fall in the 20-40 range in the draft that they trade/buy for.....but too early to say and has to go through the boss (Les).
Maybe we can get Jodie Meeks He's going to fall late first round early second -- unless they make a run in the tournament then he will likely move up.
If the market for Ron is really as bad as Morey's saying(no team w/ cap room will go after him), then I think bringing back Artest should be a no-brainer provided no implosion this season. Artest isn't worth star money, but at ~$6-7 mil per year(a bit above MLE) I think he's a good bargain.
or maybe this bad man <object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/f5R_k0Sw8nc&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/f5R_k0Sw8nc&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object>
Translation: I'll take the fall for my owner who wanted him for fan nostalgia sake. Ron will have to take a paycut if it plays out that way, sucks for him.
You quoted the wrong guy. I just said Morey was owning up for the Francis signing for his owner, which IMO was a Les move (for the the fans).
