Hope I can find someone that is able to translate an English mail into Italian (at some point this weekend or beginning of next week), here's the story: I'll be an exchange student in Italy(Torino) from mid September til February and am currently searching for apartments. I got the comfirmation for being an exchange student in March, so my Italian skills are pretty poor right now(learning via a crash course, audio cd and online at the moment). Next week I will send some mails to Italian firms/students that offer housing, therefore it'd be nice if someone with decent Italian skills could translate my mail. You only need to translate one mail that basically explains where and how long I'll study, some questions regarding the duration of the housing contract, monthly fee, the apartment, etc. I hope some CF breh can help me out here, I'd probably rep you weekly for the rest of your life or spend a low amount of money(I don't have too much, don't know if 5$ to the tip jar or via paypal will help). Thanks in advance, help a CF brother out.
unfortunately my speaking is much better than my writing. I could ask my mother, shes a native speaker, if she has the free time to look at it tomorrow.
You can send out emails in english bruuh. Most europeans and italians speak english, and the firms/students you are contacting have thousands of experience with other international students. Doubt that they won't understand basic english.
Not sure, heard that most Italians don't speak English. Think writing Italian would be the safe way. The mail can include the wish to speak English in future messages, but I'd prefer Italian for first contact.
i could probably manage it, i'm a little rusty, but honestly, you should try google translate. or just send it in english- they will understand.
