Perfect timing Bima... Highly appreciate the effort and work you put in for us and this site. Thank you.
Great work! Clutch should give you your own special title, "The Capologist." J.R. could get "The Machine" instead of Contributing Member as well.
Great article. Is there anyway that the Rockets could make Dwight's first year salary less than the max and make up for it by giving him more money in future years?
I had no idea that the Rockets would have to waive Smith and Beverley to come close to offering Howard the max. I think trading Smith won't hurt, but Patrick is an important rotation player for us. Why has Covington gotten a 150,000 dollars in this scenario doesn't make sense either. No one is going to take White and Smith together in a trade.
Feigen tweeted the rockets are interested in Dunleavy. That could open up a S&T opportunity that frees up more cap if the Bucks somehow someway want Lin.
I am not opposed to trading Lin, but PG is a crucial position. We will need someone at least as good as him, in return. Dunleavy is a good fit as a shooter, but Harden and Dunleavy in point guard roles doesn't sound right to me.Beverley isn't as good as Lin. I read the Vasquez thread, he commits more turnovers than Lin.
My numbers might be a bit off, but I think they actually have 6 million left over...weren't Lin and Asik's contracts backloaded? I believe they are making a bit less than what you list in the article this coming season, I might have read that wrong though.
