These refs are bad tonight. There should never be multiple starters on both teams fouling out of the game and another handful with 5. Way too many fouls called on both teams
This game is a perfect example of refs manipulating the game. Kept the blazers in the game early, and brought us back late. SMH
Too much of an impact on the game. Lopez foul out, Beverley foul out, Dwight foul out all terrible calls.
Bad calls both ways. In the end, poor playcalling and poor execution had the last word, not the refs.
People are trying way too hard to be diplomatic in here. The refs were $&**, hack-a-Dwight got in our heads, and the game was ticky-tack everything. And yes, I'm mad! I don't know why I am surprised by this anymore... As Chris Webber said, we don't watch the game to watch the refs. But I won't pin it on the refs. LMA with 48 points.... every time. Man up, Rockets.
Pretty badly reffed game all around. Not too surprising since Salvatore was the crew chief and that is one of the old school "made" men. Def. on the take.
(Insert bad calls on both sides comment) Seriously, no one wants to read that. I knew that **** technical would haunt us. And Aldridge was lucky not to get called for one, but it's all about consistency, right?
Maybe he had bets on the first & second half spreads? Who knows. I was mostly being facetious but at the very least Benny is a completely incompetent official in the same posse as Joey & Dicky.
Pathetic. 65 personal calls called in this game. Other 1st round games this weekend: - Mavs vs Spurs: 35 personal fouls total - Bobcats vs Heat: 29 personal fouls total - Wizards vs Bulls: 51 personal fouls total - Nets vs Raptors: 42 personal fouls total - Warriors vs Clippers: 51 personal fouls total - Hawks vs Pacers: 40 personal fouls total - Grizzlies vs Thunder: 49 personal fouls total Average (minus rockets blazers): 42 personal fouls total 65 is more than 50% above first round 1st game average. So, I'm going to conclude that the refs had a HUGE imact on this game.
Guess OP wasn't watching the play Howard fouled out on the one where he was literally held ? Lol ......
That was one of the worst foul calls I have ever seen they give the ball to the team that caused the foul NBA hates the Rockets and they proved it once again tonight
