It is totally fair to blame the refs as long as you are selective about it (and bonus points if you admit when your team gets the benefit of calls). Clearly the Rockets are getting shafted in this game. And, even though you may think I'm biased as a Clipper fan, clearly the Clippers got shafted in their game. At least your game isn't over though.

Y'all are ridiculous lmao. Refs ? Why don't we focus on Harden's matador defense,
Dwight's misses from 2 ft. away, and not boxing out.

Playing 8-5 and still up 1 at the half. I feel pretty confident about this game. #fuqdarefs

I wouldn't be surprised if the boxscore ends up Portland 28 FT Houston 0 FT. Refs are so pathetically obvious. You breath on Aldridge and he goes to the line. Come ON. This is the playoffs.

My hope is the refs balance it out at least somewhat in the 2nd half. Cuz if the box score after the game looks anything like what you just said, there will be a spotlight on all 3 of those refs. Especially if the Rockets lose the game.

I know you want to defend your Op, but 17-0 speaks for itself

I admit that at times I'm guilty of putting to much blame on the refs, but 17-0 is indefensible. Refs not calling the game fairly and Rockets fans have every reason to complain.

OP is a Blazers fan who posts on Blazers Edge.

The fact that he is still defending the refs says it all. Blazers fans QQ 10x harder for 10x less about officiating.

The Rockets end up winning this game, I'm sure. No worries about only being up 1 at halftime.

We are the best team in the NBA so if we loose obviously it's the refs fault.

Interesting timing considering this is one of the most poorly officiated games I've watched in a while.

Why would you expect a reasonable response? You didn't provide any real argument, any information, or any proof for your case at all. If you want a productive thread, you have to put more than 1 minute of thought into it, and quite possibly a little research.

I also don't see any reason to believe Rockets fans are any harder on the refs than any other fan base.

At least we don't have multiple blogs of ref whining after a regular season game in which the refs actually favored you the way it happened on Blazersedge the last regular season meeting. The refs were biased for the Blazers for 3 quarters and favored the Rockets for a few minutes at the end. And all hell broke loose over there.

I've never seen a fan base whine as much about reffing as you guys.

    It's evening itself out now.

This series reminds me of the Rockets-Thunder last year, only we are the Thunder, and they're us. Not that that has anything to do with the officiating though. Just an observation.
