I think Camby would be a huge addition to the Heat if that happens.

I can't even be mad at Camby. He has to do what he feels is best for him.

you guys suck. camby would be the best mentor for all our young guys and you're just ready to let him go. where's your competitive spirits??? bunch of p*****s. he already lives here, his family is.right here in Houston. why would he wanna travel all the time when he's comfortably fine here. he wants to retire as a rocket. a team with epic centers and ofcourse he wants his name among the great C's of rockets.

you really think he wants to join a great team just to get a ring??? Havana he's not the type to p***y out like that and be laughed at by true champs like Larry bird. Miami heat won't have as much respect as champs cause they are superfriends. now that mentality has spread, it sucks so bad for NBA. go to a great team just to get a ring. how pathetic. camby is a true competitor from the 90s. when NBA was all about real competition and not pussysuperteams.

So you're telling me true champs like Larry Bird didn't play with stacked teams? We all know he lives here, but he wants to play 4 more years, he can play 2 in Miami, then 2 here and hang it up. You can downplay the Heat all you want, but it's nothing new. The Lakers and Celtics have been doing it for years, you "p***y."

I do not think Camby would be a great fit on the Heat basketball wise. Bad pick and role big man, cannot space the floor, and not a great uptempo big. NYK are probably a better fit where he can focus on half court defense, and just get out of the way on offense, and try to get his hand on rebounds when Chandler is not on the floor.

I wonder for what? Could a trade exception be generated if Miami is over the cap and uses their partial MLE?

The only way it would make sense for Camby to come back to Houston would be to back up Howard. No point of him being on a totally rebuilding team, for either side.

The Heat don't have their own 2013 1st, however they do have the Sixers 2013 1st (top-14 Protected in the 2013 Draft, top-14 Protected in 2014 and top-14 protected in the 2015 Draft. If Miami has not yet received a first round pick by 2015, then they will receive Philadelphia's own 2015 and 2016 second round picks.)

What makes is tough is that the Heat don't have a whole lot of great trade fillers.
Could we do a double sign and trade with some random guy (e.g. Turiaf) or would it not be possible due to BYC? Paging BimaThug. :)

Please let that be confirmation that the Rockets are truly rebuilding. *fingers crossed*

Trade Scola to a contender, send Kevin Martin to anyone that wants him, and let's watch the young guys play.
