    The Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets are discussing a deal that would land Wolves point guard Jonny Flynn with the Rockets, according to sources briefed on the discussions.

    ESPN.com reported Wednesday that the Wolves had made Flynn available.

    Although the full details of the deal weren’t immediately known, two sources said Thursday that the Rockets were indeed weighing whether to go ahead with the trade in advance of the 3 p.m. deadline. Yet it’s also believed that the Wolves are still talking to other teams as well.

    I'm assuming this means that we've completely given up on getting a center via trade. Again, not terribly impressed with this move. PG isn't the position we need to upgrade at.

    He's the FURTHEST thing from a triangle PG so, yeah, I'd hope Kahn would have enough sense to move him. Of course, this is KAHN we're talking about here.

    For Brooks? Flynn is younger and has more potential..would be nice if they sweetend the deal a tad more though.
