I don't think Randolph can be included in a trade involving another teammate because he was just traded. I think he can be traded individually within the first 48 hours of the trade, but I think that deadline has passed. A capologist is needed to lay out the rules.
the only reason i can see it wouldn't be a negative is brooks' attitude and the likelihood he won't be here after this season, anyway.

In college, and in spurts during his rookie the season, the kid was showing flashes of perfect PG balance. Scoring, penetrating, assisting, defending... Tim Hardaway esque... His rookie statistics are quite solid per minute, and he is very young at only 22... He has been injured this entire year... I wouldn't want to give up Brooks for a seemingly lesser player, but Flynn HAS been working his way back from injury (or am I getting last year's rookie PGs mixed up?) Plus, Aaron Brooks is just losing us games these days. Even my wife, who came here from Brazil last year (and thankfully likes basketball), can't stand to watch Brooks play. I explain to her about the contract thing and how he lost his starting job and how he was actually halfway decent last year. She's saying how the coach needs to pull Brooks because he looks and acts like a pouting kid. (*sigh*) I'm so proud.
This Flynn kid does deserve a fresh start. He's the FURTHEST thing from a triangle PG and the fact that his pathetic President of Basketball Op's couldn't see that yet everybody else did is a statement in it's own right. Would I do Brooks for Flynn? At this point, probably. Lowry + Flynn + Ish isn't a sustainable PG trio, though. You have to get a shooter (or two) in there at some point.
