    Not a bad player, but that contract would mean that the Rockets most likely have to exceed the tax threshhold to keep Scola and Lowry.

    Not advocating that the Rockets should go after Biedrins, but it would be interesting to see how well Biedrins would play outside of Nelly's "play Maggette at center" small ball..

    I am down with Andris Biedrins, he is a fine player, minus the free throws...(uggghhh), but I am more interested on what else would be involved to make it work? Maggette? Turiaf? ....ELLIS???

    I know Kirelenko is a good shot blocker, but is he a good rebounder?

    If so, he might not be a bad pick up, contract notwithstanding.

    Ultimately, for me it's "having an eye of who complements Yao in '10-'11" the best that's the yardstick which I'll be evaluating this trade, should it happen.

    I sense Brooks and Buddinger will see further improvements in their numbers when Yao returns.

    It would be nice to get a premier rebounder.

    He was awesome before they gave him a max contract. The reason why he is playing so well now is because his contract is about to end the year after next year. For a max player he doesn't give you a lot of scoring. I would say no unless they throw in the NY pick.

    I wanted to start an official get used to seeing McGrady on the roster until the season ends, but I will let you kids have fun with this.

    It's setting you up for disappointment. The only deal that makes sense for every team is a very big trade including Washington, New York, and the Rockets. It doesn't look like it's gonna happen in the next six days so.....pucker up and say it:

    T-Mac might not get traded but no one will be saying WELCOME BACK T-MAC. Either buyout or stay in Chicago. Neither side will kiss up and make nice again.
